Speeding on residential roads remains a major concern for local authorities, and with a primary school located on Plumpton Park Road in Doncaster, improving safety for pedestrians and families was a key priority.

Rosehill Speed Cushions were installed in a three-cushion arrangement across the carriageway, encouraging drivers to reduce speed while still allowing cyclists to pass comfortably through the gaps. The layout also enables larger emergency vehicles to straddle the cushions where appropriate, helping reduce delays during emergency response.

Each unit is surface-mounted with no excavation required, allowing rapid installation with minimal disruption to the surrounding area. Manufactured from 100% recycled rubber, the cushions also offer long-term flexibility, as units can be removed, relocated, or reused if the scheme changes in future.
